Heliventures Part 61 Flight Training Programs compared to our Part 141 Flight Training Programs are for the students that want a more relaxed course of training.  This program is great for anyone who wants to learn to fly a helicopter in a relaxed enviroment.  Heliventures Part 61 helicopter training school programs follow the same syllabus of training and use the same books and study material as the Part 141 helicopter training school programs but without the strict accelerated style of instruction. The quality of training that our Part 61 students receive is no different than the quality that our Part 141 students receive.

Private Pilot Helicopter

FAA Requirements:

1. Obtain an FAA medical certificate.
2. Pass an FAA written exam.
3. Pass an FAA Check Ride.
4. Log a minimum of 40 hours total flight time.

Helicopter Training School Course Includes the following:

1. 30 hours of dual instruction. $300.00/hr – $9,000.00
2. 10 hours of solo flight. $300.00/hr – $3,000.00
3. 40 hours of ground instruction. $45.00/hr – $1,800.00

Total – $13,800.00

Instrument Pilot Helicopter (Coming Soon)

FAA Requirements:

1. Hold a private pilot helicopter certificate.
2. Hold a valid medical certificate.
3. Pass an FAA written exam.
4. Pass an FAA check ride.
5. Log a minimum of 40 hours of instrument training.

Helicopter Training School Course Includes:

1. 40 hours instrument flight instruction. $ ?

Commercial Pilot Helicopter

FAA Requirements:

1. Complete the Private Pilot Helicopter Course.
2. Hold an FAA medical certificate.
3. Pass an FAA written exam.

5. Log a minimum of 150 hours total flight time as a pilot.

Helicopter Training School Course Includes:

1. 15 hours of dual instruction. $300.00/hr – $4,500.00
2. 90 hours of solo flight. $300.00/hr – $27,000.00
3. 30 hours of ground instruction. $45.00/hr – $1,350.00
4. 5 hours Instrumental dual instruction $300.00/hr – $1,500.00

Total – $34,350.00

Certified Flight Instructor Helicopter

Course Requirements:

1. Hold a commercial pilot-helicopter certificate.
2. Hold an FAA second-class medical certificate.
3. Pass two FAA written exams.
4. Pass an FAA check ride.

Helicopter Training School Course Includes:

1. 25 hours dual instruction. $300.00/hr – $7,500.00
2. 25 hours ground instruction. $45.00/hr – $1,125.00

Total – $8,625.00

Add-On Ratings

Private Pilot Add-On Helicopter

FAA Requirements:

1. Hold an pilot certificate.
2. Hold an FAA medical certificate.

4. Log a minimum of 30 hours of flight time in helicopters.

1. 20 hours of dual instruction. $300.00/hr – $6,000.00
2. 10 hours of solo flight. $300.00/hr – $3,000.00
3. 20 hours of ground instruction. $45.00/hr – $900.00

Instrument Pilot Add-On Helicopter (Coming Soon)

FAA Requirements:

1. Hold a private pilot helicopter license.
2. Hold an airplane instrument rating.
3. Hold a valid medical certificate.
4. Pass an FAA check ride.
5. Log a minimum of 15 hours of instrument instruction in helicopters.

Helicopter Training School Course Includes:

Commercial Pilot Add-On Helicopter

FAA Requirements:

1. Hold a private pilot certificate.
2. Have an minimum of 100 hours pilot in command in powered aircraft.
3. Hold an FAA medical certificate.
4. Log a minimum of 50 hours in helicopters to include 35 hours of pilot in command time.
5. Pass an FAA check ride.

Helicopter Training School Course Includes:

1. 25 hours dual instruction. $300.00/hr – $7,500.00
2. 35 hours solo flight. $300.00/hr – $10,500.00
3. 35 hours ground instruction. $45.00/hr – $1,575.00
